Anna Pau

Anna Pau (Researcher and manager of the podcast series) is Research fellow at the Department of Legal Sciences of the University of Bologna since January 2024.

She earned her PhD in Legal Sciences from the University of Pisa. Her research focuses on European Union law, with a particular focus on the Union’s external relations, particularly the principle of coherence and respect for and promotion of international law. She has also published on topics such as energy security, restrictive measures, solidarity, and EU diplomacy. During her doctoral studies, she participated in two Jean Monnet research projects (EUDIPLO and EUCTER) as a member of the University of Pisa team. She earned her master’s degree in 2019 from the University of Siena, with a thesis in public international law.
