We are delighted to announce the publication of the book entitled The EU’s Response to the War in Ukraine and Its Impact on the EU Legal Order, published by T.M.C. Asser Press / Springer as part of the Global Europe: Legal and Policy Issues of the EU’s External Action series.
The authors Sara Poli, Madalina Moraru, Luca Paladini and Clara Portela, the volume examines how the EU’s response to Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine has transformed EU external action and affected key areas of EU law and policy.
The book explores, among other issues, EU sanctions and restrictive measures, EU competences, enlargement, defence and the Common Foreign and Security Policy, while also examining relevant developments in the case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union and the implications of EU practice for public international law.
