A PhD seminar entitled “Populismo, rispetto dei valori e processo di allargamento dell’UE” took place on 22 January 2026, fostering discussion on EU values in the enlargement process.
The seminar was organised within the PhD programmes in Legal Sciences, the initiative brought together Phd students from the curricula in Theory of Fundamental Rights, Constitutional Justice, Comparative Law, Law and Religion and Enterprise, International Law, European Union Law, and Civil Procedure. The event featured Sara Poli (Enrol Chair Holder), and Angioletta Sperti, Professor of Comparative Public Law at the Department of Law, University of Pisa, and Coordinator of Promoting and Strengthening EU Values (ProStEUVa), the Jean Monnet Module of the Department of Law of the University of Pisa, on promoting and strengthening EU Values.
