It was a pleasure to take part in the workshop “Autonomy as an EU Structural Principle,” held at the Department of Law of the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli, on the occasion of the launch of Cristina Contartese’s new book, The Principle of Autonomy in EU External Relations Law (Kluwer/CEDAM, 2025).
The event brought together distinguished scholars and judges to discuss one of the most significant constitutional principles shaping the European Union’s legal order and its external relations.
It was an engaging exchange of ideas on the evolving role of autonomy in EU law, and I truly valued the insightful discussions with colleagues and participants.
