21 October 2025 – Seminar: Ukraine’s Accession, Russia and the Security of the EU
Prof. Roman Petrov, Head of the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence and Jean Monnet Chair in EU Law at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, delivered a seminar within the EU Law course taught by Prof. Sara Poli. The seminar explored the legal and geopolitical implications of Russia’s war against Ukraine, focusing on Ukraine’s accession process, EU enlargement, and the Union’s Common Foreign and Security Policy.

Prof. Roman Petrov delivered a second seminar within the Comparative Public Law course taught by Prof. Rino Casella. The lecture examined how the war in Ukraine has influenced the EU enlargement process and the development of the Common Foreign and Security Policy, highlighting the legal and political challenges faced by the European Union.
