Rino Casella

Rino Casella is graduated (cum laude) in Political science in 1988 at University of Pisa.

During 1989 he attended Seminario di Studi e Ricerche Parlamentari S. Tosi, a training school on parlamentary law at the University of Firenze. In 1993 he has participated in a Minister for Public Administration research project. In 1994 has completed (cum laude) at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna of Pisa a doctoral programme in the form of “Corso di Perfezionamento” (degree fully equivalent to a Ph.D.) in Comparative constitutional law. In 1995 he obtained a scholarship from the CNR-Comitato nazionale per le scienze giuridiche e politiche”. From 1996 to 2017 he was a researcher of comparative public law at the Faculty of Political Sciences of Pisa. He is currently an associate professor in Public comparative law in the Department of Political sciences, University of Pisa. His courses are Comparative public law, Anglo-american public law and Comparative Public Law of European Democracies. His research interests include the political and constitutional systems of France, United States, United Kingdom and Canada.
