Luigi Lonardo

Luigi Lonardo (expert) is Lecturer in European Union Law (since 2020) at University College Cork and Adjunct Lecturer, Sciences Po Paris.

Acting Director, Centre for European Integration (since 2023) at UCC. Principal Investigator, Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence on European Integration and Citizens’ Rights (2023-24). PhD in EU Law, King’s College London (2020). Previously, lecturer and visiting lecturer at King’s College London, visiting lecturer at Sciences Po Paris and Westminster University. My main research interests are the European Union’s foreign affairs, from a legal, historical, and political perspective, as well as the judicial protection of fundamental rights in the European Union.
